Wi-Fi User Guide

There is a high-speed Wi-Fi network installed at your Blackburn Street address. Below are the steps required to sign-up and connect to the
buildings Wi-Fi service.

Step 1

Connect to the Wi-Fi network
called B-fi

Step 2

Open your Internet browser such as Safari, Internet Explorer or Chrome

Step 3

You will be redirected to a login page

Step 4

Input the username and password provided by the BC Manager for
your unit

FAQ's

(1)  Signup

  1. Connect to the Wireless Network (B-Fi WiFi). Generally it will pop up a web browser window asking you to login. If this hasn’t happened automatically, then please go to your web browser and visit:
    login.b-fi.com.au
  2. Click on the signup for a plan button. You will be directed to the signup up page. Select the WiFi plan you wish and proceed with the signup and payment
  3. Only VISA or Master cards are accepted in payments
  4. Once you proceed with payments, please patiently wait for the confirmation.
  5. You will see the payment confirmation message and it will give you your user name and password.
  6. Payment receipt along with your user name and password will be sent to you via email too.
  7. Now go to a browser tab go to: login.b-fi.com.au and enter the user name and password you have received. And then you are ready to go.
  8. You can use the same user name and password and authenticate your other devices (laptops, iPads, phone, etc)

(2)  Accessing your online portal:

  1. Please visit: my.b-fi.com.au. Use your WiFi user name and password to get access.

(3)  Forgot password:

  1. Please visit: my.b-fi.com.au. click on the forgot password link and follow the instructions to recover your password.

(4)  View payments and invoices

  1. Please visit: my.b-fi.com.au.  Click on the invoices section to view your invoices. Click on the transactions section to view the transaction records.
  2. PLEASE NOTE: you are ALWAYS pre-paying for the upcoming month

(5)  Disconnecting from services
      (Cancelling your plan)

  1. Please visit: my.b-fi.com.au. in the Dashboard, please click on the cancel my plan button and proceed with the given instructions to cancel your plan.

(6) Loss of Internet connection:

  1. Check that wireless connectivity is setup right in your device (i.e., connected to correct SSID). It will show up as your building name, B-FI WiFi
  2. Check whether you can connect to internet with any other devices. Please note there is a maximum number of devices (5 devices) you are allowed to use depending on your plan.
    If you want connect more devices:
    i. You can log off from the WiFi Network from any connected devices, and then connect with the new devices. Even when a device has not been used for a while the session may still be active and require logging out.

(7) Connecting Smart TVs, Sonos, Playstations & Xbox's

  1. If you are trying to connect a device to the buildings WiFi service but are unable to bring up the login screen, please send us an email to our support with the MAC address of the device you are trying to connect and we can add it to your account. That way your device will be automatically logged in.

devices:

  1. Xbox 360
  2. Xbox One
  3. Apple TV
  4. PS3
  5. PS4
  6. Nintendo Wii
  7. Start your Wii, without a disc.
  8. Click the Wii button at the bottom of the start screen.
  9. Click Wii Settings.
